Hi there, I’m Johanna

Johanna

I’m a Psychologist. ADHD Coach and Late-Diagnosed ADHDer.

I help high-achieving ADHD women navigate the chaos, build self-trust, and find their flow—on their terms.

I grew up on a farm in a small Dutch town and now call sunny Brisbane, Australia home. I’m the kind of person who loves deep conversations, finds joy in the little things (like Dutch apple pie and beach walks), and always has a creative idea brewing. I'm someone with a big personality, big plans, and who finds joy in creative moments that make life brighter.

I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until I was 31, and it turned my world upside down. I’d always struggled, but after having kids, everything became clearer. That diagnosis was life-changing—it validated that I wasn’t defective or dramatic and gave me the clarity to finally understand myself.

After years of jumping between jobs—from hospitality to babysitting to school psychology—and burning out in government roles, I took a leap. Just months after having my second child, I started my private practice. What began as a focus on women’s health grew into a passion for supporting women in the coaching space.

Now, I get to do this work from the comfort of my home, nestled in a lush green forest with a beautiful garden and just a short drive from the ocean. Learning to pace myself and align my life with what works for me has been so grounding—for my work, my family, and my soul.

In RETROSPECT

I probably should have known that the little girl who transformed the family caravan into a makeshift radio studio, recording imaginary shows, was destined to connect and create.

The same girl who turned her dad’s office into her own bustling headquarters—taking pretend phone calls and selling people “quick solutions” to imaginary problems—wasn’t just playing. She was laying the groundwork for a future where solving real problems with creativity would become her ‘superpower’. The fake radio studio? It turned into a podcast. And the work? It has purpose, meaning, and the same scrappy heart it always did.

Mymission is to empower high-achieving women with ADHD to find their rhythm, avoid burnout, and thrive in a way that feels authentic and aligned.

Here’s something I’ve realised: self-compassion is the foundation of growth. You can’t build a sustainable life by pushing through chaos—slowing down and honouring your needs is the true key to thriving
